Modernize the driving experience with smart technology.
We have pioneered development of the world's first digital license plate and connected vehicle platform. Learn more about our vision and where our journey is headed next.
Who we are
We are team of car enthusiasts, technology lovers, and veterans of the automotive tech industry.
Reviver is the creator of the world's first digital license plate, transforming the traditional metal plate into a connected, customizable, and secure experience. With real-time registration renewal, smart features, and modern design, Reviver makes driving easier, safer, and more personal.
Where we're going
Reviver has reimagined the license plate into a future-proofed connected vehicle platform. By embracing technology advancements and working collaboratively with partners throughout the automotive ecosystem, we have helped to enable a better experience for everyone, including drivers, DMVs, highway patrol, auto dealerships, and commercial fleet businesses.
Now we need to educate and collaborate with the rest of the states' legislators, road safety and security companies, and state PD's to expand our legalization. We are incredibly proud of the innovation the RPLATE has achieved so far. But we are even more excited about the potential of what will come next.
Legal for California and Arizona vehicle owners, we are hard at work expanding into new states. Review state level progress and stay up to date on when you can purchase your own RPLATE.

Where it started
Inspired through DMV experiences that left us frustrated and wanting more out of our registration process. The founders of Reviver developed the prototype for the RPLATE in 2009. A secure and connected vehicle licensing platform that offers a better experience for vehicle owners as well as the DMV.
Reviver's close work with lawmakers, CA DMV, CA Highway Patrol, and many others, resulted in the first successful state pilot of digital license plates for use on the road. The passage of AB-984 enabled all vehicle owners in California to utilize all of Reviver's functionality including conventional license plates, stickers, tabs, registration cards, and custom messaging.
We continued to develop and improve the RPLATE, delivering a battery-powered version to streamline installation and provide further convenience.
